The newer members to CrossFit Harrogate might not know about the adventure that one of our members is undertaking.

Mike Buckley, an old school friend, approached me back in November asking for some assistance training towards a potential record breaking speed row of the Atlantic Ocean. We decided to sponsor Mike and assist him with as much personal training and programming as he could manage. This didn't leave a lot of time for us to get Mike in shape for such a huge task, but from there on we trained HARD (day and night in some cases!) right up until his departure earlier this month.

Mike and the crew set off from Gran Canaria on the 15th of January and are now 880 nautical miles (1, 629, 760 metres) into the journey. Another 1760nm to go to Barbados!!
